The tasks of an electronics technician include manufacturing electrical components and devices as well as commissioning complete systems and then later monitoring and servicing the production and test equipment.

There is also additional training in engine construction, operational electronics, and NC control.

What apprenticeship are you doing at STOBER?

Electronics engineer for devices and systems

Why did you decide on this training program/profession?

Because of the good mixture of practical work and the exciting theory of electrical engineering.

What does your weekly and daily routine look like?

3-4 days in the shop, then 1-2 days in school

What tasks and activities are part of your training?

The training covers topics such as safely handling electricity, operating an electric motor, soldering and measuring a circuit, and installing and using a state-of-the-art frequency inverter. Then there are the basics of industrial mechanic training, electronics repair, prototype construction, and application technology.

What do you enjoy about your training and your job?

The good mix of practical work, exciting theory of electrical engineering, and friendly interactions with colleagues.
